Cars Suck!
Published on August 1, 2005 By just john In Automotive
I have a 94 Ford Explorer 4x4. It has a lot of miles on and I know I should expect some trouble. My Check Engine light came on last week and I tried to diagnose the problem myself. I bought the little computer reader and plugged it in. Only one problem, I was more confused after I plugged it in than before I started. I called my mechanic yesterday to ask if I could drop it by his shop so he could look at it today. I went over with my wife following in her car about 5pm yesterday afternoon. We dropped off my Explorer and were headed home when a Mustang smashed into an SUV and then bounced into us.

Everyone was fine but all of our cars were messed up and had to be towed. Since I don't have a spare car I am without wheels until the Mustangs insurance company gets me a car.

I just got a call from my mechanic ... now my truck won't start. I love Mondays.

Me sorry. Used to drive trucks. Always fun to stumble on site + nicknames new to me like urs, trudygolightly, lifehappens, or a mix of islandgurl + the cute avatar plus her sweet photo (this no suckup, have enough well deserved or not enemies and say that to them too sometimes)

The author Hark Adams gave me permit to release his pics for future projects, was holding back the projects based on his awesome 19" crane and truck images for other sites and moments/reasons. These six wheels ALL belong TO THE TRACTOR, rent one of these next breakdown monday (joke)

Um excuse me JustJohn but are you as confused with that reply as me?

Aw well...so sorry about your car problems and so glad you guys are ok after that car wreck! We just had our main car back after it was down and out for a week! So I know your pain with the car troubles. Thank heavens for having two cars but when they both go.....that really takes the cake! Hope your Tuesday will find you in better spirits!

Totally!

I just got off of the phone with my mechanic and he doesn't want to work on it. (he's an old guy who does this in his spare time)

I also got off of the phone with the insurance company and I am just being compliant so that this mess can be behind us.

Maybe u meant pickup truck. Hark Adams is the dutchman who took the pic, thought link was even spammier, dont take this to serious. Makin skins outta this so I got copyright to place it here directly, may burn up too much space, remove it if u like.

I thought the explorer was ur pickup and u wanted to use a serious truck u live off usually parked elsewhere instead cause the pickup was at the mechanics place, and then that did not start, either, which u learned from some other mechanic calling u up from HIS maintenance shop because ITS overhaul was also due (6months mandatory for certain air pressure break rates around here). Thats what my mondays used to be like. Professional truckers dont get see many six achsle tractors either, so I thought this would brighten up ur truckin life and prove other pro truckers were tuned in and felt sorry for ya. Germans have a word meaning CAR and TRUCK and BUS and RAILROAD CAR (WAGEN)- When u say car/wagen to a german he does not outrule ur referring to 50ton roadtrain with 4 trailers. 4 x 4 sometimes means in Europe the amount of gears transmission has when driving the train BACKWARDS, a ratio towards the amount of forward gears like when using Z4 ecosplit in opposite to a Fuller range drive. A german mercedes actros truck has 4 gears for driving backwards, because when using ecosplit truckers know 12 forward gears are often in a 4 clutch group with 3 subsplits, we just call the backw/forw ratio 4 x 4, and sometimes this is the amount of wheels + achsles the tractor/trailer have. The names for pickup models by companies we also have like ford are different here sometimes, so I havent been paying much attention to foreign or domestic german pickup model names either, cause Im into the type of truck u see depicted here, slipup of mine. Need to see a pic of what the 4 x 4 stands for in your explorer (not IE). Baseball isnt played here, suncap=gay or truckdriver around here excepting 1984 when it was fashionable. Years later black soldiers wore price tags on their caps, 1 year chinese propellers topped em, exceptions though

Guess your not what Germans call a truck driver, no offense, just my lingual acustics. This site is full of people whose English thinking is derived 4000 miles away. Thomassen retranslates from Norwegian, me from German, starkers from Australian and BoXXI from U.K. english. The most current forum English I was confronted with prior to this was switched back from cyrillic letters in Russian English thinking. I was so active there this summer Html seems more familiar in cyrillic versions sometimes when I am dreaming of trucks instead of watching my language
