The smear is on .. God be damned

Why is it that you just can't find a good impartial journalist? I studied broadcast journalism in college. Maybe that is why I just don't get it. Is making money so much more important than telling the truth without distortion?

Kerry would have us believe that W hasn't done anything good for America. The liberal journalist out there only help him spread his message. It wasn't too long ago that old W brought a country together not from a division of politics, but from a tear in the very fabric that binds us together. I could go on for days about the good things that W has done. I think the way he handled 9/11 was one of his greatest achievements as an American President.

George W did this by relying on the fabric that holds him together. I am proud that he holds his faith so close to him. I know that this country has to have a division of church and state. So much that we can't even have a moment of silence in schools anymore for fear of offending someone with our freedom to choose how or who we worship. I do believe that a person can use their faith in whatever it is they believe to do good for someone else.

I don't understand Kerry's view of faith. He is a catholic just as I am. I grew up in the catholic school with real nuns. I was an alter boy on Sunday. I know what it is to be catholic. I don't agree with all that the Catholic Church has to say, but there are quite a few things I think are fundament to the faith. Respecting life, all stages. I am not a narrow minded person. I don't believe a rape victim should be forced to carry an ill conceived child. But, to use abortion as birth control or to allow the use therefore is a thought I don't understand. Embryonic stem cell research ... forget it. This is murder for the gain of science. If this research was so promising people in wheel chairs would be walking by now. Ok, that was a little narrow minded. I just feel that there is a point where we have to draw the line. Are we willing to destroy one life to save another? What's next?

I am voting for Bush on Tuesday. Mostly ... because he is a man that is strong in his faith. I know that no matter what the outcome is or how far Pandora’s Box is opened, there will always be hope for a better world.

BE HEARD ... VOTE!

I'm voting For Kerry, but i really liked your eloquent explanation.

I'm dreading the election this year. Not because of the candidates, but the replay of 2000 that is coming with it. What kind of message does it send to the rest of the world? That our glorious system is a joke. This is why everybody needs to vote this year, regardless of candidate or poltical party. We need to have a clear winner .
