They got together for a group photo today. From left to right Tabitha, Parrish and Chloe. You get some reference of size here. The girls decided to wake up for these pictures but Parrish just wouldn't wake up. The have all had their IVs taken out(Parrish decided to take his out this morning). They are getting 19ml at each 3 hour interval feedings. Every other feeding they get an increase of 1ml. They continue to move along so quickly that it is even difficult for the doctors ...

When all this mess started months ago, Governor Blanco was visiting other states and placing advertising for her Louisiana Road Home Program. Tens, possibly hundreds of millions of dollars were spent touting Governor Blanco’s program to bring displaced citizens back to Louisiana. Many people, myself included, felt like this was very wrong because we face an election year in 2007. What a better way to start getting votes than to smear your name all over advertising for free money that was actu...

Today was the first day of an eight week yoga based stress management course that my work was kind enough to enroll me in. Most people know me to be level headed and I am usually (visibly) unaffected by stress. However, I am under a great deal of stress right now so I am welcome participant. It all starts with my worst and my best flaw. I pick my battles very carefully. There are many I choose not to fight simply because I know the outcome and refuse to try to effect change where I already...

Re-elected Republican Bobby Jindal has recently announced that he will possibly make a run for Governor in the state of Louisiana. He has made several public comments prior to his announcement that he is seeking funds that he was praying about whether or not he would run for Governor again. Out of all of the Louisiana politicians yammering after the hurricanes, I believe that he alone was the one voice of reason and sanity. I think you would be hard pressed to find a more worthy opponent f...

This update is coming to you live from Baton Rouge, LA. I am stuck down here this week taking a training class on MS SQL. I have had several new reasons to add SQL to my bag of tricks and I am really tired of having to spend an enormous amounts of time solving simple problems. I'm in day two of the class and can already see some ways that this is going to make my day to day better. Probably the worst part of being down here is that my wife is home. She is six months and one week pregnant n...

I have been working over the last week to learn how to embed windows media files in a web page. I was able to get the player in there but couldn't ever get the media to connect. Last night I finally did it! Check out 30fingers30toes.com Link for video of our little ones. My wife is doing fine and all of the babies are ok. They are growing symmetrically and that is a good sign. This was the BIG ultrasound. It took nearly two hours to complete with a small break in there. The good new...

I have been playing around with designs and hosting options on one of my sites but I am sure for those who are interested that wont matter. We know the sex of two of our babies for sure and are pretty sure about the third. It's going to be 2 boys and a girl. I couldn't be happier. Check it out Link !

Champagne and strippers, Louis Vatton bags and Hawaiian vacations... The feds gave money to a state that is completely undeserving. They did that knowing that much of that money would go to waste. Ten billion dollars sits waiting on a bunch of red tape to reimburse people who really don't have a neighborhood to go back to. I know people living in FEMA trailers. I have family still in FEMA trailers. Blue tarps designed for short term use laid down at a higher cost than repairing the roof a...

This is an idea I had when we found out Michelle was pregnant for triplets. I wanted to wait a while to make sure everything was going to work out this way and after the latest ultrasound I felt confident that it would be ok to set up. Link I am going to post the link when I update that site here at JU but I am not going to double or triple post them anymore because it takes so long to format for the different sites.

What a weekend we had. Michelle and I both developed some sort of stomach type bug. Michelle got a couple of days at the resort (read: hospital) and just as she was getting released I was getting ill. We are all better (mostly) now. We did get some great news this morning that makes all of the suffering worthwhile. We heard three little hearts beating! Michelle will be 8 weeks along on Thursday so that means it is still early and things could change. At 12 weeks we can be more positive on ...

As we were sitting in the doctors office on Monday, we were laughing and joking about how we had a very high likelihood that we would be finding out we had lots of babies on the way. Finally it is our turn and we go back. My wife has to assume the position and the doc enters the room. We were both excited when we saw something on the screen. (Seeing really is believing) My wife said, "I see two." The doctor said "I see four!" We are still very early in the pregnancy but right now ...

As some of you know my wife and I have been going through the invetro fertilization for a while now. They did the transfer Tuesday a week ago and the pregnancy test was yesterday. It was positive just as the six home tests my wife did were. (She is so impatient) Wahoooo! I'm gonna be a daddy. I hope. They will do another test tomorrow to confirm the pregnancy and to give us a good idea of how many we may be having. Right now twins look strong but there is a possibility for more. Normall...
